MIDLAND, Mich. -- The No. 3-seed Wayne State University men's tennis team (14-12 overall) topped No. 5-seeded Northwood (10-10 overall), 5-1, to finish third in the GLIAC Tournament on Sunday morning at the Greater Midland Tennis Center.

DOUBLES RESULTS
- Sophomore
Harvey Reed (Winchester, England) and junior
Ryan Carlson (Armada, Mich.) bested Daniel Haas and David Reinauer, 8-3, at the second doubles flight, while freshman
Derek Sammons (Coldwater, Mich.) and senior
Mohamed Fazyl Kechai (Paris, France) defeated Konstantin Zhukov and Hayden Drury, 8-4, at No. 3 doubles.
- Junior
Clement Charriere (Marseille, France) and freshman
Taylor Vane (Southampton, England) fell in a close, 8-6, match to Sebastian Eguez and Austin Woody at the third doubles position.

SINGLES RESULTS
- Carlson posted a two-set victory (6-1, 6-0) over Reinauer at the sixth singles flight, and Reed beat Haas, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 4 singles.
- Charriere notched a 7-5, 6-4, win over Woody at the second singles position.

ALL-GLIAC TEAMS
- Kechai was selected to the All-GLIAC First Team, while Charriere and Vane were voted to the All-GLIAC Second Team.
- Reed also received Honorable Mention Team accolades.
