RECAP: Baseball leads late but falls to defending national champion and tenth-ranked Tampa 4-3 in 12 innings Tuesday afternoon (March 10).
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Northwood took the lead in the third inning with a pair of runs, starting with an Austin Montas-Burt RBI single that scored Travis Janes.
- Matt Mango made it 2-0 with an RBI single of his own that plated Cole Brooks.
- The Timberwolves then made it 3-0 thanks to a Trevor Polewka RBI single in the top of the fifth inning.
