GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• After not scoring in the first six innings of their first two wins of the tournament, Northwood's offense got rolling early today. A pair of singles by Myles Beale and Caden Duryea to start the game set up a pair of RBI groundouts for Drew Charters and Alex Jarboe to make the score 2-0.
• Hillsdale got on the board in the top of the fourth with a run to get within one.
• The Timberwolves responded right away, as Duryea brought home a pair on a two-run single to make the score 4-1.
• Charters followed with a safety squeeze to send the game to the fifth with NU on top 5-1.
• HC got one back in the top of the fifth, only to see Northwood plate runs on another safety squeeze for Brendan Hammer and a bases loaded walk by Beale that made the score 7-2
• Beale kept his big game going in the bottom of the seventh with a two-run home run that put Northwood on top 9-2.
• Jarboe brought home a pair on a two-run double to right later in the seventh to make it 11-2.
• With the bases loaded and nobody out in the eighth, Josh Getz put NU on top 12-2 with an RBI single.
• By going up by 10 in the seventh inning or later, Northwood earned the victory via run-rule.
