RECAP: Northwood fights back into the game but is unable to get over the hump in a 77-68 loss to Wayne State Thursday night (February 16).

FIRST HALF

• The opening half was tight until the final six minutes. Wayne State led 20-17 when the Warriors went on a 17-7 run to take a 37-24 lead at the break.
• Wayne State sunk 45.5 percent of their shots from the floor (15-33), making 33.3 percent of their three-point attempts (3-9).
• The Timberwolves shot just 23.1 percent from the field (6-26), making 2-10 from 3-point range.

SECOND HALF

• Wayne State extended their lead to 20 at 60-40 with under 12 minutes to go, but Northwood fought back into the game.
