Men's Golf Finishes 18th At NCAA Super Regional

ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Northwood University men's golf team finished 18th at the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional Monday-Wednesday (May 2-4).

The three-day, 54-hole event was held at the Meadows Golf Club and was hosted by Grand Valley State. The course played as a par 72. It featured the top-10 teams in the Midwest and Central Regions, with the top-five team finishers advancing to the NCAA Championships.

Northwood shot team scores of 308-322-317, with the final round being played in near unplayable conditions due to heavy rain. Central Missouri was the overall winner at 900 (294-294-312), followed by Southeast Oklahoma State at 901 (291-300-310). A total of 19 teams took part in the event.

Leading the way for Northwood was junior Kory Roberts (Battle Creek, Mich./Grand Rapids CC),who finished with a three-round total of 230 (75-78-77) to tie for 38th. Paul Ostby (Mt. Morris, Mich./Mott CC) tied for 65th at 235 (74-82-79). A total of 102 players took part in the event.
