RECAP: After a strong start, the Northwood University men's golf team tied for 12th place overall at the Music City Regional Monday-Tuesday (April 3-4).

INSIDE THE EVENT

  • Northwood shot an opening round of 291, which placed them in a tie for fourth overall. The Timberwolves were four shots behind first and one shot out of second place.
  • But NU fell back in round two, carding a 302 to fall back to 12th place.
  • The final results were tight – Northwood finished four shots behind seventh-place McKendree at 589.
  • Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 571, followed by Indianapolis (574) and Tiffin at 578.
  • A total of 24 teams took part in the event.
