Men's Golf Finishes 14th At The Purgatory Regional

OVERVIEW – PURGATORY REGIONAL

LOCATION:  Noblesville, Ind.
COURSE: Purgatory Golf Club – (Par 72, 7116 yards)
RECAP: Northwood placed 14th at the rain-shortened Purgatory Regional Sunday-Monday (April 9-10).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot an opening round of 306 at the event, putting them in 14th overall, but just six shots out of eighth place.
• Inclement weather forced the cancellation of the second round, shortening the scheduled 36-hole event down to 18 holes.
• Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 285, followed by Saginaw Valley at 291.
• A total of 28 teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Cameron Lippoldt: 75 (+3), Tied for 31st
• Kory Roberts: 76 (+4), Tied for 40th
• Matt Garland: 77 (+5), Tied for 57th
• A total of 147 players competed in the event.
