Men's Golf Finishes Sixth At Al Watrous Intercollegiate

RECAP: Austin Deiters fires final-round 66 to held Northwood place sixth out of 16 teams at the Al Watrous Intercollegiate Saturday and Sunday (September 9-10).
INSIDE THE EVENT
- Northwood shot scores of 297 and 287 to finish with an eight-over par total of 584.
- NU's second-round 287 allowed the Timberwolves to move up two spots in the standings.
- Grand Valley State was the overall winner at -16 (284-276=560), followed by Hillsdale at 578.
- A total of 16 teams took part in the event.
TOP NU PERFORMERS
- Austin Deiters: 70-66=136. Second Overall. His 66 was the second best individual round in the tournament. That score is the lowest in a round for a Northwood player since the fall of 2003 (Justin Holyszko).
- Brad Wheeler: 72-73=145. T-19th
- A total of 98 players competed in the event.
