  • The Timberwolves opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Antonino Anselmi found the back of the net for his first collegiate goal. Brady Cole earned an assist on the scoring play as Northwood gained the 1-0 advantage.
  • Roughly ten minutes into the second half, Northwood padded their lead when Connor Cole gathered a rebound off the cross bar and put it in giving the Timberwolves a 2-0 edge.
  • Northern Michigan began to battle back late when Eric Suess scored an unassisted goal in the 85th minute cutting the Timberwolve's lead in half at 2-1.
  • The comeback attempt from the Wildcats was too little, too late, as Northwood prevailed victorious by the score of 2-1 and earned a GLIAC win on the road.
