Men's Tennis Falls To Ferris State 7-2

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 contest to Ferris State Saturday afternoon (April 16).

Ferris State is now 16-4 overall, 5-0 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Northwood, who entered the match on a six-match winning streak, falls to 7-5 overall, 3-1 in the GLIAC.

The Bulldogs earned a 2-1 lead after doubles thanks to winning at the No. 2 and the No. 3 positions. Northwood's duo of Sebastian Eguez and Austin Woody picked up an 8-6 win at the No. 1 slot.

FSU was the better team in singles, winning five of the six matches to take the overall victory.

Northwood will host Grand Valley State Sunday (April 17). Game time is set for 11 a.m.
