  • After winning the first doubles match of the day 8-3 at the No. 1 slot, Southern Indiana picked up a pair of tight wins in the other two contests. The Screaming Eagles won 8-6 at the No. 2 position and earned a 9-8 win at three doubles to lead 3-0 heading into singles.
  • Northwood picked up a pair of victories in the six singles matches, with Francois Sauerrman and Ivan Medvynskyi winning at the No. 3 and No. 6 slots, respectively.
