RECAP: Sixth-seeded Northwood run in the GLIAC Tournament came to an end with a 5-1 loss to top-seeded Ferris State in the championship match Sunday (April 23).

INSIDE THE MATCH

  • Ferris State entered match ranked No. 15 nationally and picked up wins in two of the three doubles matches to earn the early advantage. Northwood's victory in doubles came at the No. 3 slot thanks to a 9-7 victory by the duo of Hayden Drury and Ivan Medvynskyi.
  • The Bulldogs went on to pick up three straight-set wins in singles to close out the match.
