Cross Country Teams Compete At GRCC Raider Invitational

EVENT: Grand Rapids Community College Raider Invitational

LOCATION: Grand Rapids, Michigan (Riverside Park)

RECAP: The Northwood University cross country teams picked up strong performances on both the men's and women's side while competing at the GRCC Raider Invitational.

INSIDE THE MEET

• The men's team placed eighth overall with 172 points. Aquinas was the overall winner with 67 points, followed by Siena Heights with 91.
• NU was led by the duo of Tyler Jenson and Will Moench for the second straight meet. Jensen placed eighth overall with a time of 26:59.9.
• Right behind Jensen was Moench, who clocked a 27:05.6 to place ninth.
• A total of 93 runners took part in the men's event.
• The women's team did not take a team score in the event.
• Northwood was led by Jennifer McKenna for the second straight meet. She ran a 19:44.7 to place seventh overall.
• Jacqueline Reneaud placed 53rd with a time of 21:57.9.
• A total of 85 athletes took part in the women's race.
