LOCATION: Lansing, Michigan (Grand Woods Park)

RECAP: The Northwood University cross country teams competed at the Lansing CC Invitational.

 

INSIDE THE MEET

  • The women's team placed 12th overall with 324 points. Lansing was the overall winner with 43 points, followed by Madonna with 64.
  • The men did not take a team score in the event, Madonna placed 1st with 35 points followed by Grand Rapids Community College with 88 points.
  • Jennifer McKenna paced the Timberwolves for the 3rd consecutive meet, finishing 37th overall with a time of 20:46.5.
  • Jacqueline Reneaud finished 66th overall with a time of 21:53.5
  • On the men's side, senior Will Moench had a memorable day for Northwood – Moench set a PR with a time of 26:41.1 and finished 8th overall.
  • Northwood's Tyler Jensen finished 22nd overall with a time of 27:28.9
  • A total of 174 runners took part in the men's event.
  • A total of 162 runners took part in the women's event.
