RECAP: Northwood leads the majority of the game, but Walsh connects on a buzzer-beater to defeat the Timberwolves 75-72 Thursday night (December 15).
FIRST QUARTER
- Northwood finished the opening quarter strong to open up a 10 point lead. The Timberwolves posted a 14-2 run to finish the quarter to go up 24-14 after one.
- NU shot 56.3 percent from the floor (9-16) and made 4-5 from beyond the arc in the quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
- Northwood expanded their lead to as many as 16 (36-20), but a run by the Cavaliers at the end of the quarter cut the Timberwolves lead down to 40-31 at the break.
- NU's shooting percentage dropped to 40.0 percent in the quarter (6-15) and 2-4 from beyond the arc.
THIRD QUARTER
- Walsh controlled the fourth quarter, out-scoring Northwood 23-13. The Cavaliers took their first lead of the game on the final possession of the quarter, going up 54-53 heading to the fourth.
- The Cavaliers shot 62.5 percent in the quarter (10-16) while holding Northwood to 30.8 percent (4-13).
FOURTH QUARTER
