RECAP: Northwood women's basketball earned a 78-63 road win at Walsh Saturday (February 10).
GAME STORY
- After the two teams went back and forth to start the contest, Northwood used an 14-0 run to go on top for good at 24-11 with 30 seconds remaining in the opening quarter.
- A 3-pointer for the Cavaliers in the final moments of the first made the score 24-14 after one.
- Northwood pushed the lead to as many as 20 on multiple occasions in the second and did not allow Walsh to get any closer than 11.
- The Timberwolves eventually led 42-22 at the break.
- NU got their lead to 23 on three separate occasions in the third. Northwood's advantage stood at 62-42 heading to the fourth.
- The Cavaliers played better in the fourth but got no closer than 12 the rest of the game.
