Women's Golf Places Second At SVSU Fall Invitational

LOCATION: Saginaw Valley Public Golf Course – Bay City, Mich. (Par 72 – 5860 yards)
RECAP: Northwood posts its best finish of the season to this point, placing second at the SVSU Fall Invitational Saturday and Sunday (September 23-24).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot matching team scores of 305-305 to finish at 610 overall.
• Wayne State was the overall winning, beating NU by three shots at 607 (307-300). Ashland placed third at 611 (298-313).
• A total of nine teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Ali Martus: 75-73=148 – tied for fifth overall. Best career finish. Two lowest rounds of her career (previous best was 77).
• Monica Gabriele: 74-75=150 – Eighth overall
• Sydni Harding: 77-78=155 – tied for 14^th overall
• A total of 54 players competed in the tournament
