  • The Timberwolves got off to a solid start in doubles. After starting the day with a loss at the No. 3 slot, Northwood won at the No. 1 and No. 2 slots to go up 2-1 heading into singles.
  • All six singles matches were decided in straight sets, which saw GVSU post a comeback. The Lakers won four of the six matches, taking wins at the No. 1, 2, 4 and 6 positions to earn the win. Northwood earned wins at the No. 3 and No. 5 slots.
