Volleyball Picked To Finish Seventh In GLIAC North Division

BAY CITY, MICH. - The Northwood University volleyball team was picked to finish seventh in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll in the North Division, the league announced Tuesday (August 9).

Northwood finished with 14 points in the poll. Ferris State was the favorite in the North Division with 44 points, followed by Hillsdale (41) and Grand Valley State (40). Findlay was picked to win the South Division with 35 points, followed by Ashland at 32 points.

The Timberwolves will open their 2016 season at the North Alabama Invitational September 2. Northwood will play Martin Methodist at 11:30 a.m. and North Alabama at 7:30 p.m.
