RECAP: Northwood picked up a 3-0 sweep over Lake Erie, moving the Timberwolves to 2-1 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.

INSIDE THE MATCH

• Northwood jumped out to a fast start in the opening set, taking a 9-3 lead. The Storm cut the advantage down to 16-13, but the Timberwolves finished strong to take the set 25-17.
• The second set was close until a late push by Northwood gave NU a 2-0 lead. Northwood led 19-18 when the Timberwolves registered six of the final eight points to take the set.
• The Timberwolves scored seven of the first nine points of the final set to take the early advantage. Lake Erie cut the lead down late but Northwood still finished the sweep with a 25-20 win.
