Volleyball Drops 3-0 Match At Walsh

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Northwood trailed 7-2 early and never recovered in the opening set. The Timberwolves got back within four at 12-8, but an 8-3 Cavalier led Walsh to a 25-15 win.
- The Timberwolves got off to a much better start in the second set, scoring eight of the first 11 points. Walsh chipped away at the lead, but Northwood still led 21-19 late. That is when the Cavaliers took control, as Walsh claimed six of the final seven points to earn a 2-0 lead with a 25-22 victory.
- Walsh came out hot from the start of the third set, scoring the first six points. Northwood bounced back with six of the next eight points to make the score 8-6, but that was as close as NU would get. Leading 13-9, Walsh scored eight of the next 10 points en route to a 25-14 win and a 3-0 sweep.
