Volleyball Loses 3-0 Match To Findlay

INSIDE THE MATCH

• Findlay stormed out to a 9-2 lead in the first set before Northwood came back to cut the deficit to 10-6 in the early stages of the stanza. Findlay regained control from that point on, however, to strengthen their lead to 20-9 and eventually capture the first set 25-13.
• The Timberwolves would put up much more of a fight in the second set against the visitors. They would even take a two-point lead at 6-4 before battling back and forth from two two-point deficits to bring the game set even at 10. Findlay again got stronger as the stanza went on, scoring 15 of the next 21 points to win the second set 25-16.
• The Oilers proved to be too much again in the third and final set. Northwood brought the game close early on trailing as little as 7-6, but Findlay would follow the theme of them gaining control as the set got deeper. Scoring 14 of the next 21 points, they built their lead to 21-13 and never looked back making quick work of the Timberwolves 25-17.
