Volleyball Falls In Five Versus Hillsdale
OVERVIEW – HILLSDALE
SCORE: Hillsdale 3, Northwood 2, (14-25, 25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 15-7)
RECORDS: Northwood (13-11, 4-9 GLIAC), Hillsdale (15-9, 7-6 GLIAC)

RECAP: After hot start, Northwood falls in five sets to Hillsdale Wednesday night (November 2).
INSIDE THE MATCH
- The first set was all Timberwolves at the beginning. They rattled off 21 of the first 25 points in the match. Northwood eventually won the game 25-14 after the Chargers made it respectable getting 11 of the last 16 points.
- Hillsdale finished the second set strong to level the match 1-1. The Chargers led 14-13 before scoring 13 of the final 18 points to take the set 25-18
- The third set was tied 12-12 before Hillsdale pulled away, thanks to scoring six straight points. Northwood would cut the lead to four at 23-19, but the visitors notched the next two points to take the set and a 2-1 advantage.
- Northwood got the early momentum in the fourth and kept it throughout the set. NU held a 5-1 lead to start before going up 14-8. Hillsdale would cut the margin down to 16-15, but the Timberwolves regained control with nine of the next 15 points to take the fourth 25-21 and force a fifth set.
- It was Hillsdale who got off to the fast start in the fifth, scoring 11 of the first 14 points to take control. They would not waver and took the set 15-7 and the match 3-2.
