Timberwolves Volunteer At Blessed Sacrament In L.E.A.D. Program

MIDLAND, MICH. – Nearly 50 student-athletes from Northwood University volunteered in the Timberwolves L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Education, Attitude, Determination) program at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Midland, Mich. on Friday morning (Sept. 25).

Head football coach, Leonard Haynes, kicked off the morning with an opening prayer. From there, each grade broke into different groups to meet the student-athletes and coaches for a quick tutorial of their sport.

This program was a great opportunity for the Timberwolves to work with area youth in an impactful way. It is used as a platform for the collegiate athletes to approach local youth through athletics.
