The Timby Awards – Northwood's Student-Athlete Awards Night - took place on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29 2015. The event was held in the Bennett Center at 8:00 p.m.

- Baseball earns a sweep over Hillsdale after trailing 4-1 in the final game and winning with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 9th
- Men's Basketball with a 73-66 OT win over No. 17 LSSU to earn a spot into the GLIAC Tournament after which the crowd stormed the court
- Women's Basketball with a 96-90 OT win over No. 8 MTU after trailing by 8 with less than :50 left and buzzer beater to force OT

Football raises Head Coach Pat Riepma's chair after earning a 23-13 win at Northern Mich. to open the season **WINNER**
- Men's Soccer earns 1-0 win over SVSU in GLIAC Tournament Championship
- Softball earns sweep over Grand Valley including a 9-inning 7-6 win before hitting a grand slam in the 5th of game two to win 5-4
- Men's Tennis earns a 5-4 win over Grand Valley in GLIAC Tournament after trailing 3-0 through doubles
