Northwood University Athletic Events This Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood Baseball team is currently sitting on top of the GLIAC at 14-4. The Timberwolves will play a rescheduled game against the Lakers of Grand Valley State on Wednesday (April 15) in hopes of remaining in first place. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Gerace Stadium. The Softball team also hosts Grand Valley State on Thursday (April 16) at 3:30 p.m. Both games will are part of NU’s Luau Party, so be sure to dress in your best beachwear!

Men’s and Women’s Golf are on the road on Monday (April 13). The women close out the Tiffin Spring Invite, while the men are at the NCAA Regional #4. On Tuesday, the Softball team travels to Findlay, Ohio to play a makeup game against Malone. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. The Track and Field teams travel to GVSU’s Al Owens Invite this weekend (April 18 and 19).

On Saturday (April 18), the Men’s Golf team travels to the GLIAC South Tournament, while the Men’s Tennis team hosts Michigan Tech at 10 a.m. Baseball travels to Wayne State and Softball will be at Saginaw Valley with double headers starting at 1 p.m. Men’s Tennis will then host Lake Superior to close out the season at 10 a.m. on Sunday (April 19). Baseball and Softball will both play at Wayne State with double headers at Noon.
