Tennis - Sophomore

Sophomore Alisa Reshetnikova helped her team to a GLIAC Tournament Championship last week. She picked up a pair of wins against Saginaw Valley State, as the Timberwolves earned a 5-1 in the Quarterfinals. Reshetnikova then won at doubles with Maria Avksenenko and was ahead in singles, as NU defeated Wayne State 5-2 in the Semifinals. The Timberwolves went on to down Grand Valley State 5-2 in the Championship.

Jared Briguglio

Football - Senior

Senior Jared Briguglio ran for two touchdowns in NU’s 21-14 win over rival Saginaw Valley State on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 24). With the win, Northwood earns the "Axe," as the game is the annual Axe Bowl between the two teams. Briguglio finished with a total of 102 yards on the ground on 23 rushes for an average of 4.4 yards per carry. The senior has a total of 1,299 yards for his career.
