The four teams are #2 seed Trevecca Nazarene University, #3 seed Ohio Dominican University, #6 seed Grand Valley State University, and 7 seed Northwood University. Trevecca is the regular season Great Midwest Champion and the Trojans are ranked No. 21 in the latest NFCA Top 25. The Northwood Timberwolves earned the Great Midwest automatic bid, winning the postseason championship tournament. Ohio Dominican won last year's Great Midwest regular season title and the Panthers are becoming a regulars in the NCAA Championships, this is their fourth year in a row to make the field. Grand Valley has a long history of winning and advancing to the NCAA postseason, the Lakers won the GLIAC regular season title this season and advanced to the national championship finals last year, finishing as the runner-up.Â
