Bio
Penny joined the Northwood Athletic Training Staff in November 2022.
Prior to Northwood, she worked for Adrian College as an Athletic Trainer. In her experiences, she has worked with various sports including swim/dive, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rugby, acrobatics and tumbling, cross country, women's soccer, and baseball.
Penny attended Central Michigan University, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She later earned her Master's of Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Training from Illinois State University in 2022. While at ISU she worked as a Graduate Assistant at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Currently, Sara resides in Saginaw, Mich. with her husband Nathan. She enjoys spending time with her pets Nala (dog) and Aria (cat), crocheting, and making memories with her nieces and nephews.
