SEASON OUTLOOK: Easy throwing Left Handed Pitcher who has earned a spot in the starting rotation.  

2012 SEASON: Won Northwood’s 2012 Newcomer of the Year Award…  Led the team in appearances with 19… Posted a team high 4 wins while also recording 2 saves… Through 24 innings pitched he earned an ERA of 4.5, which was good enough for 3^rd on the team… Earned his first career win in a 7-3 victory over Mansfield (3/12)…Tossed 3 and 1/3 scoreless innings in a 6-1 win over Ashland (3/25) while only allowing 1 hit and striking out 4… Collected his first career save in a 10-8 win against Ohio Dominican (4/1) where Cody threw 2 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Played for Roger Henninger at St. Charles High School where in his Sophomore Season received 2nd team All-Conference accolades. In his Junior year Cody was 1^st team All-Conference, 1st team All-District, MVP and  team captain During his  Senior campaign, Cody was 1^st team All-Conference, 1^st team All-District, 1^st team All-Regional, 1^st team All-State .  Played for Wendell Nehmer on Means Stamping for two summers.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN ATHLETICS: Pitching against Breckenridge his Junior year to secure the Conference championship and throwing his 2^nd no-hitter against Carrollton.
