SEASON OUTLOOK: Displays power to all fields…Will see time in Left Field, or as the team’s designated hitter this spring.
2012 SEASON: Appeared in 13 games… Posted a .409 AVE, a .458 OBP, and slugged .455… In his first career start Travis went 2 for 3 with one RBI and a run scored against Minnesota-Crookston (3/13)… Had 2 hits and a run scored against conference rival Saginaw Valley 4/24).
HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Prepped for Jeff Yenkel at Clare High School where he was two time all-conference, two time all-district, two time all-region, and honorable mention all-state. Played Summer Ball with the Central Michigan All-Stars for Derek Simmons & Ben Wright where they won the Palomino State, Regional, and World Championship.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN ATHLETICS: Winning the 2011 Palomino World Championship in Compton, California.
