RECAP: Thanks to a strong day on the mound from Alan LaBov and Peter Joseph, Northwood picks up a 2-0 win over Urbana Saturday afternoon (February 29)

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • The game was scoreless into the fourth inning when Cole Brooks came up with a key hit. His one-out triple was followed by a Matt Magno sacrifice fly to give the Timberwolves a 1-0 lead.
  • Northwood doubled their advantage in the fifth. Noah Ingram started the inning with a single. Michael Karam then reached on an error on a sacrifice bunt that allowed Ingram to score from first to make the score 2-0.
  • NU's pitching duo of Alan LaBov and Peter Joseph did the rest, holding the Blue Knights off the board to give the Timberwolves the win.
