Northwood Places 98 Student-Athletes On The Fall All-Academic Teams
Complete 2012 Fall GLIAC All-Academic Teams
The Northwood University athletic department placed a total of 98 student-athletes on the GLIAC All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence teams, the league announced Monday (December 10).
Student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0.
Northwood placed 49 student-athletes on both the All-Academic Team and the All-Academic Excellence teams. That number is the highest at Northwood in a single sports season.
