GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following Week 4 of 2021 football season. Grand Valley State sophomore Tariq Reid earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Northwood junior Mahlon Slaughter captured GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition, and Saginaw Valley State junior kicker Connor Luksic claimed his third GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honor.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Connor Luksic - Saginaw Valley State
Junior Connor Luksic (Springboro, Ohio) kicked two field goals, including a 36-yarder, and made all five extra-point attempts during Saginaw Valley State's 41-21 victory over Wayne State. He also averaged 53.5 yards on two punts, landing both inside the WSU 20-yard line.
