  • The Huskies drove down to the Northwood 34 on the opening drive before Erik Santiago came up with an interception at the 26, returning it 24 yards to the 50-yard line.
  • Following a Northwood turnover on downs, Michigan Tech was set up with 1st and 10 on the Northwood 38. The Huskies found the endzone in five plays, capitalizing with a three-yard touchdown run to take the 7-0 lead with 6:31 remaining in the first quarter.
  • Michigan Tech extended their lead to 10-0 with 2:29 to go in the first half. The 14-play, 65-yard drive resulted in a successful 25-yard field goal.

  • A stop from the Timberwolf defense set Northwood up nicely on the Michigan Tech 46. Jacob Baldwin and the Timberwolves reached the eight-yard line before the Huskies picked up an interception on the goal line and returned it 100 yards to the opposite endzone. The return put the Michigan Tech lead at 34-0 with 7:45 to go.
