INSIDE THE GAME

• Findlay got on the board first at the 5:45 mark. Their TD capped a 70-yard drive to put the Oilers up 7-0.
• Northwood tied the score early in the second after an 11-play, 56-yard drive. Quarterback Ethan Hamby connected with Mark Tocco for a 16-yard touchdown pass to Mark Tocco to make the score 7-7.
• It was a kicker's game the remainder of the half. UF's Cameron Shirky connected from 22 yards twice, while Northwood's Max Gonos made a 39-yard attempt. The score stood at 13-10 at halftime.
• A key drive in the game came early in the third quarter, when the Oilers went 91 yards in four plays. A 43-yard TD pass put UF on top 20-10.
• Northwood responded with a TD of their own early in the fourth. NU went 51-yards on seven plays. Hamby finished the drive with a two-yard touchdown run to get within four at 20-16.
• Findlay wasted no time getting their lead back to 10. Just 1:32 later, Findlay rounded out the scoring for the day with a 30-yard touchdown pass. That made the final 27-17.
