Bio

Zach Riepma is now in his sixth season at Northwood. After two years as the wide receivers coach, Leonard Haynes promoted Riepma to the roll of offensive coordinator for the 2016 campaign.

Northwood's offense took a big step forward in 2017. The Timberwolves ranked second in the GLIAC in rushing and fourth in scoring. Their 25.6 points per game average was more than four points higher than the previous season, when the team ranked 12th in the GLIAC in scoring.

Riepma was a graduate assistant coach at Central Michigan for the 2013 season prior to arriving at Northwood. He also spent a pair of seasons at Wayne State, serving as a graduate assistant for Paul Winters for the 2011 & 2012 seasons.

A 2012 graduate of Hope College, Riepma was a three-year letterwinner for the Flying Dutchmen.

Riepma lives in Midland and is married to his wife, Kirstin. He is the son of Pat Riepma, the all-time winningest coach in Northwood football history.
