GAME STORY

• LSSU was the better team early, getting out to a 24-12 lead with 11:33 remaining in the first half.
• Northwood responded with a big run, scoring 19 of the next 25 points to take the lead 31-30 with 4:30 remaining in the first half.
• The Lakers eventually took a 40-37 lead at the break.
• The key stretch of the game came at the start of the second half. LSSU scored 14 of the first 16 points to jump out to a 53-39 lead.
• Northwood cut the lead to seven with less than four minutes to go, but that would be as close as they would get.
