Lonnie Griffin Resigns As Head Men's Basketball Coach

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University athletic department has announced the resignation of head men's basketball coach Lonnie Griffin.

"I would like to thank Lonnie Griffin for his dedication to our men's basketball program and his work here at Northwood," said Northwood Athletic Director Jeff Curtis "We wish him and his family the best going forward."

Griffin recently completed his fourth year as head coach at Northwood. He posted a total of 20 victories in his time leading the program.

A national search for a new head men's basketball coach will begin immediately.
