RECAP: Northwood men's lacrosse earned a commanding 25-11 win over Davis & Elkins Saturday (April 19).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS 

• Davis & Elkins jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the 13:23 mark of the first quarter.
• Northwood answered with a tone-setting 8-0 run. Dylan Ayotte's first-quarter hat-trick, Andrew Rogers' three assists, and Mackennan Tognettoi's brace gave NU the 8-1 lead with five seconds to play in the first.
• The Senators scored a quick one to end the first. The score was 8-2 after one.
• Rogers added two quick goals to open the second period before the Senators added another. Northwood held the 10-3 lead at the 8:29 mark.
• Northwood continued to hold a convincing lead going into the half. Multiple Timberwolves began filling out the stat sheets as Rogers added four goals in the second period alone while compiling six assists in the first half. Togentti tabbed three goals and two assists while Ayotte added four goals and an assist, going into the half.
• Northwood held a 15-4 lead at the half.
• Northwood continued to dominate in the third. Again, Rogers opened the period's scoring before assisting on the next two, giving Nu the 18-4 advantage at the 10:50 mark.
• Tognetti extended Northwood's lead to 15 before Davis and Elkins scored two of their own to make it 19-6 at the 6:39 mark.
• Northwood scored the final four goals of the third quarter to hold a 23-6 lead after three.
• Up by 17 in the fourth quarter, Northwood took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter as Davis & Elkins went on a 5-2 run to make it the final of 25 -11.
