GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Northwood took the lead less than two minutes into the game. Freshman Kie Dyer netted his third goal of the season at 1:44 off an assist from Austin Hobbs to make the score 1-0.
  • That proved to be the lone goal of the opening 45 minutes. Ashland held a 7-5 edge in shots in the first half while NU had a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.
  • Ashland found the equalizer at 64:30, but Dier had another answer less than a minute later. His second goal of the day came off an assist from Chase Clark and made the score 2-1.
  • Neither team was able to find the back of the net the remainder of the game, giving the win to the Timberwolves
