RECAP: Men's soccer tallied their third win of the year Thursday (October 24), scoring two unanswered goals in the second half for the 2-1 victory at Lake Erie.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Lake Erie scored first, tallying one via a deflected save by Northwood's keeper. The Storm quickly scored off the deflection in the 39', 1-0 LEC.
  • At the midway point, Lake Erie had the 5-3 edge in shots and a 6-1 advantage on corner opportunities.
  • The Timberwolves held their ground, quickly turning away the Storm's four shots to start the second half.
  • Northwood found the equalizer in the 72'. A corner kick from Chris Escalante was headed in on the far post by a leaping Patrick Hamilton to tie it at 1-1.
