Men's Tennis Loses Opener At Lewis 5-2

RECAP: Northwood opened their 2019 season with a 5-2 loss at Lewis Friday afternoon (February 8).
INSIDE THE MATCH
- In doubles, Northwood started the day with the first win – 6-2 at the No 3 position. But the Flyers won at both the No. 1 (6-3) and No. 2 (6-4) positon to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
- The top of the Lewis singles lineup was the key to the match, as the Flyers took the matches at the top three flights. Lewis also won at the No. 6 slot.
- Northwood's wins in singles came at the fourth and fifth positions.
- Three of the six singles matches went the full three sets.
