Men's Tennis Tabbed to Finish Sixth in G-MAC Preseason Poll

MIDLAND, MICH- The Northwood University men's tennis team has been picked to finish sixth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) by the coaches in its annual preseason poll, the league announced Thursday (February 8).

Tiffin was the favorite in the poll, collecting eight of the nine first-place votes. The final first-place vote went to Findlay. Northwood racked up 39 of the total points. First-year Head Coach, Raul Quevedo had this to say about the poll, "I am excited to see how we compete in a strong conference. Tiffin and Findlay are both well-coached programs."

Northwood returns one All-Conference player from last season, Max Wild. Wild went 4-3 in conference singles-play and doubles in 2023.

The Timberwolves finished fifth in the G-MAC last season with a 3-4 G-MAC record. Conference play opens on March 23 against G-MAC newcomer, Thomas More.
