Max Wild Named G-MAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – Max Wild, a junior from the Northwood University men's tennis team, has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week. The conference made the announcement Monday (April 1). This is Wild's first career Athlete of the Week honor and the first one for the men's tennis team this season.

Wild led the Northwood men's tennis team to a pair of sweeps over Ashland and Cedarville last week, going 4-0 combined in singles and doubles from the No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles positions. He was 2-0 at the top of the singles lineup and 2-0 in doubles with partner Leon Grassnickel.

Northwood has one match this week, against conference foe, Hillsdale on April 6.
