Men's Tennis Has Two Players Earn All G-MAC Honors

2024 G-MAC All-Conference Selections

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's tennis program was well-represented on the All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) teams, which were announced at the league tournament on Thursday (April 25).

For the men, Max Wild earned the First Team, and Alessandro Parigi was named to the Second Team.

 

Wild earns All-Conference honors for the third time in his career, as he was named First Team All-G-MAC a year ago and Honorable Mention All-GLIAC in 2022. Wild played on the first single line for the Timberwolves this season with a 10-8 record and 5-3 in G-MAC play. He played a majority of the season in doubles with Leon Grassnickel. Wild and Grassnickel went 9-2 with a 7-1 conference mark.

Parigi was selected for his first career all-conference. Parigi had a 10-7 record in singles play with a 5-2 mark in G-MAC play. Thomas Ladwein and Parigi teamed up in doubles this season for a 7-5 record and 5-3 in conference play.

The men's team ended their season with a loss in the conference quarterfinals to Hillsdale.
