Max Wild Named G-MAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – Max Wild, a senior on the Northwood University men's tennis team, has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week Monday (March 3).

He is the first Northwood men's tennis player to earn the honor this season.

Wild went 4-0 for Northwood last week at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles position. He teamed with Juan Perez Garcia to go 2-0 at No. 1 doubles. Wild then won two three-set matches at No. 1 singles. The Timberwolves picked up a 6-1 win over Lawrence Tech before earning a 4-3 win over No. 25 Ferris State.

Northwood travels to Missouri-St. Louis March 12. Match time is set for 1:30 p.m.
