Track & Field Competes At Dr. Keeler Invitational

MEET: Dr. Keeler Track & Field Invitational

LOCATION: North Central College – Naperville, Ill.

INSIDE THE MEET

• Junior Trestin Mancillas-Finnerty and freshman Chase Clark competed in the 1500 meter run. Mancillas-Finnerty ran 3:56.92 to come in 22^nd overall, while Clark placed 34^th with a time of 3:59.02.
• Freshmen duo Stephen Barker and Josiah Morse ran times of 1:53.82 and 1:53.95 respectively in the 800 meters to finish in 18^th and 20^th place.
• In the final event of the night, senior Dylan Rocha clocked a time of 9:22.74 in the 3000 meter steeplechase to finish 18^th overall. Rocha will end his collegiate career as the school record holder in the event at 9:15.59 set at the GLIAC Championships last weekend, in addition to the 3000 meter run on the outdoor circuit at 8:41.70.

UP NEXT: A group of sprinters will compete at the Mount Olive Final Qualifier Sunday (May 12).
