
Men's Cross Country Lands At No. 10 In USTFCCCA Regional Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Northwood men's cross country team landed at No. 10 in the latest installment of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II midwest regional rankings. The USTFCCCA rankings were released Tuesday (September 27) with Northwood and three other Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) teams appearing on the list.
The GMAC is led by Walsh at No. 2, Findlay at No. 7, and Cedarville at No. 8. Grand Valley State comes in No. 1, and Saginaw Valley State one spot ahead of Northwood at No. 9.
The Timberwolves are led by Dillan Haviland (St. Johns, Mich.) who has won both meets the team has run in this season. His 24.33.0 time in his 8k at the GRCC Raider XC Invite on September 17 set a new school record as the Timberwolves would also have four runners finish in the top 10.
Northwood men's cross country team continues their season at the Live In Lou Classic at the University of Louisville on Saturday (October 1). The men's races begin at 9:30 am.
