• Northwood scored their first run of the season in the top of the first on a Grace Dutoi RBI fielder's choice to score Tara Gross.
• The Timberwolves broke the game open in the second quarter, starting with a Tara Gross RBI single.
• The big hit of the game came later in the second from Julia Gross. Her three-run homer gave Northwood a 5-0 lead.
• NU's final run of the game came in the fifth on a Sydni Culps sac fly.
• Northwood's Shayna Frank earned the complete-game shutout in the circle to give Northwood the win.
